I grew up in Patagonia and worked as a ski instructor for over 15 years across Argentina, Switzerland, Andorra, Austria and Italy. In 2020 I came to visit friends in Verbier for ten days. Like so many, I fell in love with the valley and am here to stay.

Fitzroy's story
Fitzroy is our Athletic Director. His role at the school will be focused exclusively on creating and delivering a meticulously planned year-round training programme on- and off-snow for all abilities, incorporating ski racing and training opportunities across the Alps. Fitzroy's vision is to attract students from across Europe by creating a pathway to the Youth Olympics.

Fitzroy said: “Being part of the Copperfield School ski project today is a great honour and a great challenge. Helping the children to enjoy the snow and realise their sports dreams will be a beautiful mission”
Fitzroy speaks Spanish, English and French.
